#BusinessFinanceWeek returns this November 2023, supporting new and growing businesses

The annual campaign returns from 6-10th November 2023, with each day centred on a different aspect of business finance and bringing with it daily expert-led events, free resources, success stories and more. As well as other partners from across the UK, Let’s Do Business Finance is joining in with the campaign to spread awareness of business finance options and break down barriers to growth.

During the five consecutive days of the campaign, there will be daily events both online and offline centred around each theme, giving entrepreneurs and business owners the opportunity to connect with experts and network with others, while learning about the different finance options available to support their individual growth goals, from traditional loans and grants to crowdfunding and angel investors. The campaign will also span over social media – raising visibility of the different finance options available for businesses to tap into, and of the variety of providers out there who can help.

The themes for each day are:

Monday 6th November – Taking your first step: Starting your business with finance

Tuesday 7th November – Growing your business: Exploring finance options for growth

Wednesday 8th November – Thriving with finance: Unlocking your working capital

Thursday 9th November – Unlocking innovation: Building the business of tomorrow

Friday 10th November – What next? Business finance is just the start

As well as promoting the events on offer from the British Business Bank, Let’s Do Business Finance will be joining in and taking to social media to share free resources to aid business owners in creating a successful finance application, access support and more – as well as hosting a Q&A session on Instagram and Facebook to answer some of the most common questions and misconceptions around business finance.

Let’s Do Business Finance, a Community Development Finance Institution based in Hastings, East Sussex, is an accredited lender and Business Support Partner of the British Business Bank, and works to improve access and education around financial products for businesses through a ‘people first’ ethos – breaking down the barriers for new and aspiring business owners to access finance, and working with existing businesses to grow. Through its delivery arms Backing Essex Business, Let’s Do Business Group and Locate East Sussex, Let’s Do Business Finance has been able to provide finance facilities to businesses across the South East and East of England – improving local communities and the region as a whole since its inception almost 20 years ago.

The return of Business Finance Week in 2023 signifies the ongoing commitment of the British Business Bank to continue to provide initiatives to businesses in their growth, and finance providers nationwide to pull together to raise awareness and change the perceptions and accessibility of finance to grow our local economies.
